One of the most natural feelings in this world is to dislike the individuals who try to bring you down, whether it is on purpose or without intention. We tend to allow these types of individuals access to our emotions, we get angry and frustrated and ultimately push them out of our lives. One key point to remember when dealing with this emotion is that these people were not born this way, it is a learned trait one in which they have probably been exposed to more often than they would have like too.
Either way, this type of person is not a happy one, they have somehow lost their desire and drive to be more than they think they can be, when we learn to understand this we can develop a deeper compassion for them, understand that this person is suffering deeply and probably does not remember what happiness feels like, although it’s important to be cautious around individuals like this because it can be emotionally and mentally draining, it’s also important not to forget about them or shut them out like most of the world probably has done already. There is no one simple solution to this, but it’s a step forward in the right direction when we learn to gain understanding from them, they have a message and story to be told and learned from just like anyone else. This understanding will allow an interaction without resentful feelings and instant arguments, when we open the door to communication and our actions reflect compassion, the results carry different outcomes than what they and ourselves are used to.
