On the Edge

At the oceans edge we sat,

the moonlight dappling ripples of water

that gently lapped the shore

the night was chirping for attention but got none of ours

the conversation was deep the moment  harmonious

we carried on like the summer breeze

that gently feathered our skin

The emotion that surged between us

palpable, insatiable

Electrifying to say the least

we sat close

the pounding of my heart nearly drowned

the reverberation of your breathing

As your hand reached out and rested on mine

I looked up and lost myself in those eyes

As we got closer I felt myself

Falling……

I can taste forever on your lips

I can see 'I love you' in your soul

Your eyes speak so clearly to my heart

I can feel you with me, around me and in me

I am vulnerably exposed

This desire drives me to complete distraction

I ache for your attention

I’m desperate for your touch

Satisfy me, quench me

Taste my bodies love…..

Infatuation in every stroke and every kiss

When we are apart I fantasize of this

Craving to be in your arms, be held so tight

Yearning praying begging with all my might

Caged, reaching out for you 

So close and knowing you want this too

Dreams of walking with you along the beach

Slowly undressing you as our bodies meet

Loving the way you smell

Mesmerized by stories your eyes tell

Your voice sends chills down my spine

For that moment always stopping time

Falling..........

let me inside your mind

let me penetrate your soul

let me take over your body

embrace me as you explode

kiss me till i fully pour out

tangled deeply into your tune

to hear you sing my song

as it echos through my soul

Im heightened at the thought......

Love is a risk, and I am your challenge.....

What is familiar is always comfortable, although in life most times the familiar tends to cause more emotional distress than the unfamiliar, we still tend to hold on to it for dear life, because exploring the unknown is uncomfortable. Building courage to go into the unfamiliar can be tough but it is NOT impossible, all it take is for any given person to shift their perceptive and learn to be curious. Become the captain of your life, explore all possibilities, live your own adventure.
