There is always a part of us that wants to be recognized and applauded, to be acknowledged greatly, to be seen as a higher status or followed by many, its egocentric, we desire validation and to be worshipped in some way, but the real question we should ask our self is can we do the work of our soul without the responsibility of being in the publics eye, can we be true to who we are even if we knew we would never receive an ounce of gratitude, even if no one in this world knew all the wonderful things that were happening were a result of our doing, or do we need to seek the credit and copyright, make legal claim that this is my work, tell everyone around us I did such and such, or will we feel some type of way if no one ever knew? This is how we bring awareness to understand whether we are operating solely from higher spirit or just pure earthly ego. When we act from pure unconditional love there is never any reason, need or desire for expectations or exchange; In The End: What Matters Most is that we know it felt amazing just to give of our self to another. ~Will "Story" Rivera
