Fear somehow defies the facts, it creates deep seated illusions that look and feel so real it’s sometimes disturbing, it has a paralyzing effect that keeps us all in check, it stops us from progress and tricks us into thinking it’s our safety net. Even when we want something so badly, dreams we have had for always, it’s the fear in us that always provides the reasons why we can’t, excuses to keep us back, and we feed and nurture it because somehow we doubt ourselves and fear breaks our confidence, it strips us of all courage, and we, who are in control, allow it.

We all get tempted stay ashore when the seas are looking rough, but it’s through the most difficult storms that we truly get to discover, our true potential. Stay focused, be brave, remember there is nothing you cannot achieve, be thankful for who you are today, and fight through your fears so that with each little triumph your closer to your dreams. I believe in you and I believe in this, and through my actions daily I am facing my fears, yes I’m scared, but that in no way will ever stop me from moving forward; I encourage you to do the same. ~ Will Rivera
