Through this I still believe....

I believe in many things, I believe I do believe

There are songs that we listen to that feed our souls through each beat

There are those who hurt you, and those who seek to laugh as we fail

But I do believe, I truly do believe that the good heart-ed will prevail

Sometimes in life, we are given just the bare necessities

And through this appreciation, develops through this reality

For those who have suffered silently, those emotions raging like a sea

I do believe, I truly do believe there will better days awaiting you and me

Then there are the selfish, and there are those who choose not to care

They close their eyes to the world, and walk amongst us like we are not even there

Deep in their hearts theirs longing, for someone to deeply touch their souls

I do believe, I truly do believe they are deserving of our deepest love; only heaven knows

Life is a journey, one which changes as each day goes by

Are friends become estranged, and our families and lives turn into lies

Our partners cheat, dreams fade, and sometimes we forget the lyrics to our song

But I believe, I truly do believe that all the suffering is what makes us strong

In my heart there is still hope, and strength to get up every time I fall

Disappointments are my specialty, and through each hardship I still stand tall

I still believe in true love, even after so many broken lies

I believe, I truly do believe it was those deep sorrows that gave birth to my wings to fly….

I do believe…..

I still believe no matter what happens to me, i will not allow anyone to steel my faith

and amidst all the misery, I will smile and take life day by day

every moment is my blessing, and around every corner miracles await

I believe, I truly do believe that is exactly how some dreams are made....
