When we're afraid of ourselves, we can't meet ourselves with trust; when we're afraid of others, we can't meet others with trust and when we're afraid of life – there's nothing left to trust.

It is never easy to confide your deepest fears in someone, most people carry many heavy levels of distrust, we worry we will not be forgiven, we worry others will not understand, we worry that we will lose relationships and friendships. The truth is holding back the truth and how you feel and holding tight to your insecurities causes more unhappiness within you than the risk of losing someone around you does. It’s a fact of life people will hurt you and at some point or another the person you care about the most will let you down, it’s a part of being human; we all make mistakes.

Living your life on guard all the time is no way to live, you deny yourself much needed dialogue from those around you, you close your heart to good and bad, as humans we strive on what we feel, when you choose to feel nothing, that is when you have chosen to stop living all together. Take some time in your life to meet people and life with faith and trust, meeting life with trust doesn't mean trusting those people who make you feel uncomfortable – never do go down that road, but make serious effort to open up to healthy human interaction and life itself. By resisting and holding on to our fears, we create our own unhappiness. Don’t worry about being judged, we are entitled to make our own mistakes; that is the only way we learn valuable life lessons. The only way you will find who you can really trust is by trying, the best relationships are from those who can hear and listen genuinely to everything you say and never pass judgment on you, those who no matter what your life choices are will never look at you differently. When you open yourself to others you allow them to open up to you, most of the time we are all feeling the same kind of pain, we are just afraid to share it.

Opening up is a process, but it is one in which can truly bring some spiritual, emotional, and mental healing.
