The real measure of your wealth is how much you'd be worth if you lost all your money. Strive for that greatness of spirit that measures life not by its disappointments but by its possibilities.

In life you will find that people screw you over, you will argue with your family, you will witness things you wish you hadn’t, you will blame new lovers for what old lovers did, and you may even lose best friends whom you’d thought would be there forever. There is a point in life when you have to realize that everyone has a past, part of the experience in life you will laugh and cry, live through moments of embarrassment, be overwhelmed with loss and renewed with hope, regardless you will come to find that none of that matters. When you sit back and learn to accept that shit happens to all of us in our very special way, and learning to enjoy the ride is all it takes to make it a better day. Love yourself and all your mistakes, they are yours to make, this is who you are and don’t let anyone change that, including yourself.

I realize sometimes the pain feels like it will never cease, and giving up looks magically delicious, you need to remember if you give up now, you may be missing out on the greatest story of life you’ve ever written, things could turn out better than you ever imagined, what if?. Just keep holding on and pushing forward with courage and confidence and the best sense of humor imaginable, I promise your problems won’t disappear, but you will be able to enjoy your life wholeheartedly amidst all your problems.
