Let there be enlightenment or understanding in everything we do, true understanding requires empathy; to actually feel what another person is feeling inside about a certain situation – even if it is just for that moment.

Empathy is what happens to us when we leave our own bodies…and find ourselves either momentarily or for a longer period of time in the heart and mind of another. We observe reality through their eyes, feel their emotions and share in her pain. Like anything else that’s worthwhile, understanding takes effort. Sometimes we’ll have to work harder than other times – but it is going to take some amount of effort.

That seed of understanding miraculously makes the mind function as a reliable tool to keep oneself effective, sober, sensible, compassionate, responsible, undistracted by anything contradicting, we learn to understand the rationale behind another persons decisions, and develop true understanding that the reasons they make are their own, it is not to be taken personal.
